This second edition was covering the theme of 'The Business of Art'. It focused on various topics including the Entrepreneur's Mindset,  Entrepreneurial Process, Finding your Niche, Marketing Strategies, Branding and Partnerships. The facilitators of the workshop were Njoroman, Keith Malenga and Darwin Wanjiru.The second edition of the Kreative klinic youth empowerment workshop was nothing short of impactful. It was held on the 18th of February at 902 Street, Kikuyu. The workshop was highly interactive with participants and the facilitators. This second edition was covering the theme of ‘The Business of Art’. It focused on various topics including the Entrepreneur’s Mindset, Entrepreneurial Process, Finding your Niche, Marketing Strategies, Branding and Partnerships. The facilitators of the workshop were Njoroman, Keith Malenga and Darwin Wanjiru. They presented in the same order as their topics were leading on into the other. There was also documentation of the workshop by Darwin’s Oosberg productions.

The workshop started with an activity referred to as 'The entrepreneur's game where participants were challenged to come up with a list of characteristics for both good and bad entrepreneurs.The workshop started with an activity referred to as ‘The entrepreneur’s game where participants were challenged to come up with a list of characteristics for both good and bad entrepreneurs. The facilitator welcomed them to state all of the characteristics, that was the foundation of the talk that followed. Njoroman started off by talking about the entrepreneur’s mindset and what practices best describe who an entrepreneur is. Next, he discussed the entrepreneurial process, using a sample product as his example. He explained how the entrepreneur goes from idea to market entry. People showed a keen interest in the process of entrepreneurship.

Keith Malenga followed suit and his presentation was nothing short of amazing. He started off by stating that the best way to capitalize on your craft was to identify your niche. He went on to give methods of identification of a person’s niche. He also taught on how to write the mission statement. He was also very gracious to give the attendants a lecture on marketing strategies. He went on to discuss social media management and how to create content for social platforms.

The workshop was another great success, the agenda was kept and goals were met. As with PSK fashion, a freestyle session was in order. The freestyle was graced by the renowned and talented Kijana Mtanashati who did a piece of spoken word. He was followed by Tony24 from jina yetu band, he entertained us with a dancehall freestyle. Naserian closed off that session with a beautiful cover song. Afterwards, everyone gave their closing remarks and the chairman of the Poets Society of Kenya closed the workshop officially.Darwin was the final facilitator of the day he also briefly touched on finding your niche. He majorly focused on building a brand, where he stated the importance of it. He advised that a brand represents the artist and allows the artist to separate him/herself from their craft. This allows the artist to have autonomy over their lives. He also emphasized the importance of aligning your craft and general brand with national and international agendas. By doing so an artist allows for higher chances for collaboration, partnership and sponsorship. He also stated that a brand has the potential for change through its collaborators.
