African Comb Books (ACB) is a limited liability company incorporated in Kenya to research, write, edit, publish and distribute relevant African books by Africans for contemporary Africans!
Besides publishing its own literature, ACB is also here to work for and with any one who is interested in getting their ideas into books.
ACB publishes everything ranging from African pop literature to creative fiction, non-fiction and cultural and artistic material.
The company started by revising and reissuing well loved pop literature by Kenya’s ‘Father of Pop Literature’, David G Maillu. The books already revised and put back in print include After 4:30, For Mbatha and Rabeka, Thorns of Life, My Deer Bottle and Unfit for Human Consumption.
Some of the new releases include Successful Composition Writing, The Real Kikuyu, Kadosa: Knocking at the Heart, Pathways to Kenya’s Present Destiny and Adoption of Barack Obama as the First President of the Union of African States.
Many more books are in the works and are being churned out faster than you can read this sentence. What is more: ACB is training potential writers in the craft and art of writing.
